Or as complex as recording overtime, time off, and even billing rates for individual projects and tasks. Time sheets can be as simple as recording the start and end times, lunch, and breaks for each workday. Unfortunately, most workers hate them, even though there are critical business reasons why employers require them.Ī timesheet is a place to organize, record, and report on the time employees spend working. However, timesheets are a necessary business evil. Time spent on projects get jotted down on loose pieces of paper and sticky notes, and then easily misplaced or lost.
